You've been listening to the track "Overnight Thoughts", released under the name Vibrating Wires.

It was recorded, edited, and produced by me, Mark Rushton, and is available at Pond5 for stock music licensing. 

Overnight Thoughts was created a using a lap steel guitar and numerous effects.  The aesthetic of the band it's released under, Vibrating Wires, is based on haunting starkness and ethereal fog.  Many of the other Vibrating Wires releases sound like processed lap steel, but with Overnight Thoughts I took it was several steps further and really smoothed out the rough edges. 

Overnight Thoughts can be heard on streaming services worldwide.  Search for the band Vibrating Wires.  It's on the EP "I Want To Walk Out Into the Night".

This is what I like to call my "chiming ambient" - it's music that seems freeform, but there are restrictions in place to keep it within boundaries without it being repetitive, kind of like wind chimes.
